All this progress has placed this bank in the second schedule. The Janata Sahakari Bank Limited, Pune is functioning as a Scheduled Co-operative Bank since 1st September 1988. As a result the bank is accepting deposits from government and semi-government corporations. Similarly government and semi-government corporations accept bank drafts.
Our Bank got the status of Multi-State Scheduled Bank on 29th March 2012. Now it is a multi-state co-operative bank under the Multi-State Co-operative Societies Act 2002.
Our Bank has implemented Core Banking Technology in 2005, which has resulted in quick and accurate services to the customers. Now customers can transact through any banking facility from any branch.
The Bank provides comprehensive training through its own Training Center from time to time to its employees to upgrade their skills for better customer service.
Janata Sahakari Bank Ltd., Pune has committed itself to the cause of social causes. In 1961, when Pune was in the grip of floods, the bank provided financial assistance to the victims.
