The Dattatreya Maharaj Kalambe Jolly Co-Operative Bank Ltd. was established on 19th July, 1973 by the late Dattatreya Maharaj Kalambe, the great saint and disciple of Sant Gadgebaba. This bank was formerly known as Jolly Sahakari Bank Ltd. The purpose of setting up the bank was to sustain the economic development of the working class people, especially the Mathadis, who had migrated from the western region of the state of Maharashtra through the cooperative movement. Late Dattatreya Maharaj Kalambe and his followers were the real visionaries of the bank.
